NIH Intramural ME/CFS Study
Overview
In 2016, the 最新麻豆视频 (NIH) launched the , which took place at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. The study focused on individuals who developed myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) after an infection and had been diagnosed within the previous 5 years. The goal was to closely examine the clinical and biological characteristics of the disease to improve our understanding of its causes and progression. The collaborative study was led by , clinical director at the 最新麻豆视频 Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and involved researchers from other Institutes and Centers at the NIH, and from outside research institutions.
